I have 2 Round Robin challenges due today. The first page is for the Scrapbook.com Round Robin. I am week 3 and I followed Rosita's layout Smile! It is also for the Title Challenge over at Scraps of Darkness. That challenge was to use the title 'Souless'
I used a picture that my boyfriend took in Key West of two spider webs. I think spiders are souless but I thought that the picture had a sort of beauty to it. I made this page with the Oct Scraps of Darkness Kit. I created the background by making random stitches throughout. The frame around the page is black paint, gel medium, stickles, and smooch ink.
Here are some closeups of the flowers and ribbons. Mod Podge has become one of my new favorite products. I love the effect it gave my black lace ribbon and it can adhere even the hard to adhere pieces!!
My next page is for the Scraps of Darkness Round Robin of which I am week 1. I also used the SOD kit. This page is titled 'Terrified'.
For some reason it feels very Edgar Allen Poe to me. I think it's cause of the birds and the purple. I don't think I am so crazy about this page though. This was the page I made to break my creativity block, and for some reason those first pages after the block breaks never look all that great to me. Maybe I am being overly critical but who knows. Here are some closeups:
So that's it from me for now. Look for my page for the first Punky Scraps Challenge for November. I am really loving how it's coming along. I also have a ton of ideas for other pages that I can't wait to get to. The only thing is that my free time has slightly diminished due to my new job. It'll even out though!! =D

Halloween Horror Nights 2010
I finally got my creativity back!!! I have been scrapping like crazy lately and it's wonderful! I also start my new job on Monday and I can't wait! So life is pretty good for me right now. It is with a heavy heart though that I share my last page for Little Shop of Sketches. Tanya has decided to close down the blog. There were some amazing sketches and I thank her for letting me be a part of it. I hope all goes well for her. To see the absolutely amazing last sketch just go to Little Shop of Sketches.
My take on it is titled 'Halloween Horror Nights 2010'
It was an amazingly fun night (well for the most part anyways). I made this with the All Hallow's Eve kit from Scraps of Darkness, this kit was fantastic. There are so many possibilities to create with it. I took the transparent frames and inked them with Distress inks to give them some color.
I also popped up the photos to add dimension. The red sparkly twig was actually too tall for my design so I cut some of it off.
I hope you guys enjoyed this page and would love to play along with the last sketch from Little Shop of Sketches. As it was my first design team assignment it will always have a special place in my heart.

The Descent
So during the month of October Scraps of Darkness is having a Halloween Horror Movie Contest. Subscribers are to create layouts of their favorite horror movie. I have a few. After searching for images, I found this incredible movie posters of one of my favorite horror flicks. The movie is called 'The Descent'. It is beyond creepy and gory. One of the coolest things about the movie is that the cast is entirely female, which doesn't happen often.
I created this with the September Passages SOD kit. The rocks are pieces of cork. I distressed the paper and crumbled it up to create the texture. I misted, painted, and stickled the paper then to add interest.
The movie is about a group of women who like to go on adventures every year. This year they decide to go caving. The main protagonist is still recovering from the death of her husband and child. They get into the the cave and then they realize they can't get out because the girl who planned the trip failed to mention that this cave was not on any of the maps. She wanted to be credited with discovering and exploring it. There are so weird creatures in there and people start dying. They spend the movie trying to survive, keep their secrets, and to get out. I never saw the end coming. I also could not sleep the night I saw this. My boyfriend also who never jumps at scary movies jumped at this one. Truly a fantastic film. I am thinking that I am inspired to also scrap some of my other favorite horror movies. We'll see how it goes.

Life is the GREATEST Fairy Tale
I have finally shaken off my creative block. It's kind of depressing to receive my fabulous SOD October kit and not feel the slightest inclination to create anything. Thankfully though last night my creativity came back!! Woo! Just in time too because my page for Little Shop of Sketches was due today. This bi-weekly's sketch is another one of mine.
Here is what I came up with:
My little sister's birthday is this month and I made this for her. She is obsessed with Snow White and the color purple. It took me forever to find a picture that would go nicely with purple. The title is 'Life is the GREATEST Fairy Tale' which a take off a Hans Christian Anderson quote. I printed the picture on vellum which I was inspired to do after I saw one of Lisa's (aka Raining) layouts. I love the effect.
I also made this for the Chippie challenge sponsored by 3 tails craft at scrapbook.com. Here are closeups of the three chippies. Two of them are the tags that I have the title on. I put the smaller one on top of the other. The last one is the small butterfly. I misted all the chippies. The smaller tag was also stamped and I added stickles to both tags.
I made the background with red and blue gelatos and with purple mist. I added letter stickers by The Girl's Paperie to create the squares of the sketch. The letters that I used actually spell out Snow White. You have to really look for it though ;)
And here's a picture of the big butterfly. I just love it. I had thought that something was missing on the canvas when this butterfly just literally dropped in my view. It was fate.
I don't think it will be another 2 weeks until I post something again. This project seems to have wakened up my creativity and I have at least three pages in my mind right now. The only problem will be finding time to create them!
